The District of Setúbal is the 8th largest district of Portugal, occupying an area of 5060 km2. At a distance of 20 km from the capital of Portugal, it is a region strongly linked to the Tagus River and the Atlantic Ocean, mostly made up of plains and some mountainous areas. The most well-known tourist attractions include the Sanctuary of Christ the King, the Arrábida Natural Park and the Espichel Cape.
